Registration open for Summer Sports School
Registration is now open for boys and girls ages 6 to 12 to participate in the East Lyme Summer Sports Camp. The camp will run from June 30th to August 1st, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. For an additional fee your child can be dropped off as early as 7:30 a.m. and picked up as late as 4:30 p.m. More...
Lifeguard Training Course
The East Lyme Aquatic & Fitness Center is offering a seven-day lifeguard training course in early May. The price for the course is $205.
Classes will be offered on May 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 10. Weekday classes will be held at the center pool from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and the Saturday class will be from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The course price includes books, pocket masks and certification cards.
Pre-requisites: Must be 15 by May 10, 2008. Swim 300 yards continuously, consisting of both the front crawl and the breaststroke. Retrieve a 10 lb. brick from 7 feet of water and return it 20 yards to the wall.
Lifeguard recertification course
The East Lyme Aquatic & Fitness Cent is offering a 3 day lifeguard re-certification course. The price is $60.
The course will be offered May 15 and 16 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Saturday, May 17 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Nutmeg Swim Club 2008 Registration
The Nutmeg Swim Club is accepting registrations for its 2008 season beginning April 21st. The program is conducted at the East Lyme Aquatic & Fitness Center and at the Ocean Beach 50 meter pool.

Swim America Session V Swim Lesson Registration
Registrations are now being accepted for the fifth session of the Swim America 2007-2008 program. Be aware that there has been a change in the dates for the upcoming session. The new dates for the session are April 28th through June 9th. The on-line registration form now reflects these dates.
